TALK “CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE IN HERITAGE: INVESTIGATE, APPRECIATE, INTERVEN”

Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso

This week the e [ad] receives Pablo Millán, an architect from the University of Seville, who will give his talk Contemporary architecture in heritage: investigate, apprehend, intervene, this Thursday, April 3, at 12:00 in the First Room Year of Architecture
The theme that Millán proposes is inserted in the context of a moment of extreme delicacy, in which to consider the role of architecture is to address a personal commitment to society; in which the debate is polarized; on the one hand, in standardized and anodyne architectures, and on the other, in the snobby architectures of the “star system”.
